Interpretive Summary: Technical Abstract: New federal regulations mandate federal agencies to be more transparent and share information to the public. At USDA, Agriculture Research Service there is a small team from different research site locations who have worked together to develop a platform using ESRI open source mapping software to share information. The information includes maps, stories of site locations, and research data. The Agricultural Collaborative Research Outcomes Systems (AgCROS) site (https://agcros-usdaars.opendata.arcgis.com/) was designed to share agricultural research data to the public as well as to internal staff across USDA and other international sites To assist with research dealing with climate, agricultural production, food security, and human health issues globally. This site is still under development with new projects being added as often as resources are made available to do so. |
