Technical Abstract: The Land Product Validation subgroup is a part of the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites Working Group on Calibration and Validation. The goal is to provide guidance and best practices for the community. Our goal is to provide good practices protocols and standards for the validation of satellite-based land products to improve public confidence in these products as well as provide a community forum for discussion and coordination.
