Slide 11.   Phillip Kelly (Branch Manager of Queensland Cotton in St. George), irrigation manager Mick (?), and Col Schiller (Ozchem, Toowoomba) observe an inadequately matched PAM applicator and water supply.  PAM has received a lot of attention for its potent effectiveness at low application rate, however, the application capability of a Gandy applicator for this sized water flow is one or two orders of magnitude inadequate.  Again, during this trip most "failures" of PAM to perform were related to poor understanding of application requirements or related system needs, or poor strategies for PAM application.
