Slide 12.   Col Schiller (ag chemical consultant) and cotton grower Andrew Simon discuss PAM's potential to reduce migration of soil borne pathogens in furrow irrigated fields.  Work in the US has shown that PAM can effectively sequester most of the microorganisms and weed seeds that are otherwise carried along in furrow irrigation streams and furrow runoff.  This aspect of PAM use bodes well for improved weed and disease control in PAM-treated fields.
