Biomass to Bio-oil:  ARS Scientists Improve Fast Pyrolysis for Biofuels

Scientists at the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) will field test in September a mobile biomass processing system that uses a new, improved fast pyrolysis process for converting biomass feedstocks into liquid bio-oil that can be refined into renewable fuels.
