Mission:
It is the mission of the Safety and Engineering Unit to develop and implement a dynamic, responsive, and effective environmental health and safety program for the National Animal Disease Center, and to provide service, training, employee health services, and security for the National Veterinary Services Laboratories. The Unit maintains and operates the NADC facilities in support of the research staff and ensures efficient utilization of personnel, supplies, and utilities.
