Objective:
To decipher changes to RNA expression of commensal gut microbes in response to different components such as food component, the mixture of food components, polyphenols or nanoparticles.
Approach:
The ERRC scientists will be responsible for performing the initial experiment, such as to grow different types or communities of bacteria and culture with food components under various conditions. The company will be responsible for sequencing quality. Results will be shared to form hypotheses or techniques developed to improve sequencing results.
