Research Project: Computational and Genomic Resources to Support Plant Genome Function

Location: Plant, Soil and Nutrition Research

Project Number: 8062-21000-051-001-A
Project Type: Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Sep 10, 2019
End Date: Sep 9, 2024

Objective:
To generate resources and accelerate our understanding of genome function.

Approach:
Technological advancements in sequencing, imaging and robotics, are supporting unprecedented opportunities to generate data associated with an organism. While each of these data points provide value, the ability to integrate across these, provide unique insights into how any organism develops and responds to its environment. In this proposal we will focus on developing genomic, genetic and computational resources for agronomically important species and their models. The computational infrastructure will support access, analyses, and visualize resources for genomic and phenotype data.
