Dr. Leon Cui  provided support and collaboration to the National Cotton Council (NCC), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), and Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) in meetings with a delegation from the China Fiber Inspection Bureau (CFIB) in Memphis, TN.  The meetings concentrated on collaborations and discussions by the CFIB representatives with USDA personnel in order to fully develop a Chinese cotton classing system that utilizes High Volume Instrumentation (HVI) and which is in basic agreement with USDA classing protocols.
