A Symposium Focusing on Advances in Sweetpotato Research and Processing through Public and Private Partnership

This virtual symposium highlighted the capacity and contribution of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) in supporting the sweetpotato commodity through research and outreach. USDA-ARS conducts long-term basic and applied research on sweetpotato (and other agricultural commodities) to develop new products and technologies that improve product quality and healthfulness, reduce waste, and enhance U.S. competitiveness around the globe.
