Slide 17.   Respread and recontoured "soil material" at a strip mine site must be handled using large scale land forming equipment.  Approaches to PAM use for mine spoil reclamation, similarly face the additional challenge of fitting in to a land management strategy that must be conducted at an industrial scale, with large equipment, with little opportunity for multiple land management operations once the initial site reclamation operations have been performed.
